FREELANCE: The stability and operability of a management team
directly relate to its ability to scale during periods of change
such as rapid growth, low growth, or restructuring. Freelance
support assists you by filling management or executive positions
that are under transition until the best-fit, permanent
professional can be added to the company team. We have
fulfilled freelance CEO, President, COO, Vice-President, Program
Manager, Project Manager, and Business Manager positions.
While temporarily in "the seat", the freelancer is also able to
assist you to identify and brief the incoming professional to
achieve a quick and effective transition.
OUTSOURCE: The InGear team is fully capable to contract
outsource any of the program services identified in the "What"
column plus a variety specialty services. In addition, we would
welcome a long-term contract relationship with you whereby we
provide outsource solutions on a functional or department basis.
INSOURCE: Our freelance and outsource services can be
directed toward assisting a client to insource whatever
capabilities and functional performance that it needs as it scales
to meet changing marketplace conditions. Insourcing works to
eliminate the need for external contracting of business functions
by gaining the ability to perform those functions internally. We
would work internally with you to train your staff to perform the
services that we provide so that you no longer require our
services. In order to achieve this outcome, InGear assists the
client's in-house staff to better focus and refine the core
competencies of the company. As deficiencies are discovered,
we would work side-by-side with your team to temporarily fill
those needs while concurrently training the client's staff to
perform tasks that would otherwise be outsourced. With the
proper insourcing program in place, the company can quickly
develop new, valuable in-house capabilities that over a short
period of time can cut costs and improve scalability, versatility
and effectiveness.

InGear Corporation specializes in Strategic Planning, Tactical Implementation and Functional Performance. InGear provides Freelance, Outsourcing, and Insourcing services at the operational and executive levels that support: 1) the scalability of in-house management teams; 2) initiatives such as an acquisition, turnaround, or solving compliance issues; 3) the preparation and use of a wide variety of business planning tools; 4) practical risk assessment and management; and above all, 5) program and task execution.

CONTRACTUAL AND FINANCIAL RELATIONSHIP: We engage with
our clients in whatever manner that best fits their needs:
long-term or short-term; by objective, task or program; or to
provide a special initiative outcome. The contractual relationship
is designed to satisfy the style and needs of the parties. The
financial relationship can be standard or creative; whatever best
works for client and contractor. The following are the most
typical forms of association.
Retainer
A fixed amount paid monthly and in advance to secure specific
services. We have found the retainer to be the best financial
relationship to initiate the engagement. The initial retainer
relationship usually lasts for one to three months within which
time the complete Scope of Work (SOW) can be determined. The
engagement can remain under the retainer or then be redefined
as Time & Materials, Fixed Price or Value-Based.
Time & Materials (T&M)
A time-based rate for direct labor expended during the
performance of the contract plus travel and materials. The
InGear rate sheet will be provided upon request.
Fixed Price (FP)
Provides for a specified fixed price for supplying services that is
only subject to adjustment if certain provisions are included in
the agreement.
Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF)
All direct costs are subjected to one negotiated fee that is added
equally to all costs.
Value-Based (creative)
A very special relationship based on the perceived value of the
potential future benefits and results that could be provided by
the contractor to satisfy the client's objective.
Equity (creative)
We have on occasion taken an equity position with a client as
compensation for our services.



We do not define ourselves as consultants although we can provide that service if it provides the greatest benefit to your company. InGear does not take your money for telling you what you need to do and then leaving you to get it done. We become an extension of your internal team; assist you with, or totally perform, your defined objective; on-the-job train your personal in the skill set provided by us; and, then exit your accounts payable in the shortest time possible.
